What the career record says

Games of Legends lists 481 wins and 299 losses, a 61.7% win rate over 780 professional games, with a 2.4 KDA, 8.1 CS per minute and 21.3% of his team's gold. Leaguepedia's cut through 14 October 2025 stopped at 771 games, 475 wins and 63 champions. The gap is the 2026 comeback, not a dispute about the decade before it.

Gnar is the most-played champion, 66 games at 71.2%. Rumble, at 47 games and 74.5%, is the efficient one. Riven, the champion his solo-queue nickname still points at, does not appear on either pro table.

The teams are four chapters: Team WE from November 2014 to May 2017, Invictus Gaming through November 2021, Weibo Gaming through December 2023, and IG again from December 2024. The second IG stay includes an inactive stretch from 10 December 2025 to 15 June 2026.

Short answers

Who is TheShy?

TheShy is Kang Seung-lok, a South Korean top laner born on 11 November 1999. He plays for Invictus Gaming in the LPL. He won the 2018 World Championship with IG and was the runner-up with Weibo Gaming in 2023.

Did TheShy qualify for Worlds 2026?

Yes. IG lost the Split 3 lower-bracket final to Anyone's Legend, then beat JD Gaming 3–1 on 19 September 2026 in the Regional Finals. That series gave the LPL its fourth Worlds seed. IG joins Anyone's Legend, Bilibili Gaming and Top Esports in the Swiss stage, scheduled for 23–31 October 2026 in Allen, Texas.

What is TheShy's career win rate?

Games of Legends lists 481 wins and 299 losses, a 61.7% win rate, across 780 games, with a 2.4 KDA, 8.1 CS per minute and a 21.3% gold share. Leaguepedia's snapshot through 14 October 2025 was 475–296, 61.6%, over 771 games and 63 champions. The later board includes the 2026 comeback.

Has TheShy played Riven in a professional match?

Not on the public match lists. Leaguepedia's 63-champion table and the Games of Legends all-time board both omit Riven. The animation-cancel sequence called the TheShy combo comes from his solo-queue play on the Korean server, around 2015, and the reputation stayed after the champion left his stage pool.
