Twelve games, under .500
Games of Legends lists 12 Ambessa games, a 41.7% win rate and a 2.7 KDA. The KDA is fine. The win rate is not. Five wins in twelve games means the pick has been a losing record even while the scoreline looks active.
That split is worth stating next to the pentakill. One game can be perfect and the sample can still be a loss.
6 May 2025, and the 2026 return
On 6 May 2025, against ThunderTalk Gaming, TheShy recorded a pentakill on Ambessa and finished the game 8/2/11. It is reported as his first pentakill in a professional match. The opponent matters for 2026 readers: IG later swept the same organization 3–0 in the Knights' Road on 28 August 2026, with Ambessa in that series alongside Camille and Vayne.
He also opened the 2026 Nirvana group on Ambessa, in the 2–1 over Weibo Gaming on 25 July. The champion is part of the comeback pool, with a career win rate that still has to catch up to the clip.
